Australian
Affiliate Networks
By
using an Affiliate Network, all the hard work is done for you, and you gain access
to a large group of potential affiliates from day one. All networks work with
the vast majority of shopping carts.
- Commission
Monster - over 100 merchants use Commission Monster, all
local. No information online regarding costs.
- Check
My Stats - located at Bondi Beach. Over 1300 merchants
globally, mostly smaller ones. Merchants must maintain a balance of $300. This
is the lowest costing network I've found (and the one I use). If you are happy
to promote your affiliate program yourself, try Check My Stats
- ClixGalore
AU - over 4000+ merchants globally, over 200 of which
are Australian. This is also a low cost service, with 5 different levels available.
The lowest entry cost is just $90.
- DGM
Australia - local
branch of UK network. 43 Aussie merchants, many are big companies. You need to
contact their sales dept for pricing.
- SiteLink
- 10 local merchants, and they use a 3rd-party system from DirectTrack. $AU4400
set up (includes banner ad design and so on), then $AU1750 per month (you need
to pay commissions on top of this). Ended in May 2006
- Dark
Blue - based in Australia, 200 mostly American merchants
(not many seem to be exclusive to Dark Blue). TOTALLY
FREE SERVICE - All you pay is commissions to your affiliates. Dark
Blue makes money from serving a pop-under ad on the exit of a banner click (ie
after they have left your site). As a merchant you get 50% of the revenue generated
by the pop-under. $500 initial deposit required, totally refundable.
PartnersPro
- brand new, powered by Affiliate Network Pro
Major
Networks Global
These
tend to have very few Australian merchants, but they will happily accept them.
- Commission
Junction - the biggest and best, with several thousand
merchants. One monthly check in Aussie dollars for all your commission. System
functions very well. They are expensive... $US2250 set up, $250 annual fee, $3000
non-refundable deposit, 30% transaction fees (with a minimum of $500 per month)
- LinkShare
- not as big as CJ, but similar, with many quality merchants.
Had major problems with their affiliate sign-up system in mid-2005. Contact their
sales reps for pricing.
- BeFree
- slowly merging with CJ, with smart merchants switching to the
CJ system. Not recommended.
- ClickBank
- only for non-physical products, deliverable over the Internet itself (via web
pages, files, or email). Start up cost only $49.95. 10,000 vendors & 100,00
affiliates.
- FusionQuest
- feature rich affiliate tracking solution that is easy to use
and affordably priced. The start-up costs are low ( $195 plus $19.95 per month)
enabling you to get a program started with little risk, yet the system has enough
scalability to grow with you. Commission is very low at 10% and they offer a 15-day
free trial.
- MaxBounty
- network fees as low at 15% (min. $50/mo.), over 1,000 affiliates
- Share
Results
- new, quality service, with reasonable prices. 22% network fee, only $100 deposit
to get started!
Tip
- want links from your affiliates to pass on PageRank?
Try FusionQuest
or LinkConnector
.
